M. Elle Design on Elle Decor
A mother and two daughter design team of M. Elle Design created their own family getaway in Ketchum, Idaho. The refined rusticity it very appealing to me - especially since wintry winds are beginning to blow!
Their mountain home has been featured recently in Elle Decor and many other design blogs. But, I found a couple more photos on M. Elle Design's website that I did not see on any other blog. I especially like the handrail design and am thinking about doing a modified version for our own home. The stainless steel cables placed 4" apart make it code compliant then the wood crosses tone down the modern severity of the cables.

And the stair rail shall be mine! We're doing a modified version in our home right now - I'm excited and will post photos in January when complete. Stay tuned . . .
