Life's a Beach
Witty, whimsical, exotic and elegant. Bold, bright, quirky charms, and natural objects found along the beach are hung from chunky chains woven with a rainbow of silk threads. These fabulous mixed media jewelry pieces are the basis of the 2003 Parson's graduate, Venessa Arizaga's, first collection. What began as an extracurrular respite from her day job as Design Director at Zac Posen has now turned into a full time gig. With Bergdof Goodman, Ashley Turen, and other specialty stores carrying her line of necklaces and bracelets, she certainly is in good company. I love her fun and funky attitude towards jewelry. With her appreciation for any and every trinket, she creates pieces that are truly unique and always in style for the woman with a sense of humor.
